Stick with your Sabres coverage because you have no clue on this. Joey and his agent have already said they will take a bridge deal. "He does everything well", why was he a healthy scratch in an AHL playoff game not more then a season ago? They need to keep pushing him to become what he can. He is a great kid but needs to be motivated. As far as Murray giving him an offer sheet, it would have to be over @8.4 mil/yr. Buffalo does not have their 3rd rounder pick to offer sheet less than that. He will sign a bridge deal for around $5 mil. |

Even if they were interested, i have to think Murray would do what Burke did when he got Kessel. It would be better for both teams long term. That being said, I agree with your last sentence, only a matter of time. |

I think the offer sheets should be used when you are a good team and will be drafting late in the round. Not when you have a chance at drafting really high. |

Not trying to defend Garth and his use of "Jax", but at the same time nobody flames on the first post and his/her use of "Joey"? |

Hey Garth, keep up the good work. Can you imagine all these nay sayers if they did not have a Sabre blogger to bash. Sometime you are weird but at least you are entertaining and that is what I like about you despite you being a homer big time. |

Maybe he is buddies with him? Golf friends? Joey should have plenty of friends.

When he does sign, Garth already has the title of the blog.
"J J J J Joey and the Jax (sign bridge deal)" to the tune of Benny and the jets. |

Why does this all upset you so ? It is Garth . You should have learned by now to accept his cheesy rock references , misspellings +++
He tries . It is just a blog . It is not CNN . Life is too short to get upset about it.
Don't worry Be Happy !
