Randall Ritchey: "New" Jerseys, Reaves' NHL14 Problems, and More The Blues have unveiled their newest jerseys which is also one of their old jerseys. There are a lot of mixed reactions regarding the jersey. I'll express my opinion here.

Haha I remember when Wayne Simmonds was a pale white guy in the NHL series. Those video games used to be amazing, but they've really been slipping recently. How long has Kyle Palmieri been in the NHL? Parts of three seasons? Four? He's got black hair yet he's blonde in the games. They've had 4 years to get it right but he still looks like a created character.

I really hope they fix this kinda thing in NHL 15. Madden is kicking their ass.

The company that makes MLB The Show (I think it's called San Diego Sports) should do an NHL game. Much more attention to detail than EA.

As far as NHL 14 and EA goes...


I did have fun playing '14 and I still do BUT come on... They never even fixed the online portion so people can actually play... I have had numerous games that didn't disconnect, but can't tell you how many games I got kicked from, as well as everyone else playing... It's not just me, and other online games work perfectly fine. Read the game critiques online, you'll see all the authentic complaints, no need to rant further. I will say though, NHL '94 was amazing! But they haven't gotten a single game right since then... Sadly I have purchased and returned most of their titles since then. The '94 arcade version on '14 sucks and there's not even the old players, why??? I wish we had NHL 2k, at least there would be competition and another choice. As of now, we''re stuck with EA... Booooooo!!!

On PS3 I played many games and had few problems with connectivity? Sure If I was spanking a guy 4-0 he'd quit but that's about it.

Who gives a poop. It's a video game.

I can understand a light-skinned black player getting angry about being portrayed as an incredibly dark-skinned black person. But frankly I don't care if NHL 15 came out and Kyle Palmieri has a giant phallic birthmark spanning his entire face. I also don't care if John Tavares is inexplicably Asian and wearing a Rangers jersey.

Reeves looks like Dennis Rodman in that video game picture shot haha.

NHL 12 was the last installment i purchased but now that my PS3 went to poop, and its been over a year or so since playing a hockey video game, ill be buying 15 and hoping its fun.

If i were a black player in the NHL I would be offended by this as well but I am not. So i dont really care.

Get the demo it is so good. I hate that Hut was removed from the demo but game play and pre game stuff is awesome. Goalies are also more human than super hero now. You give up a quality chance and the chances you score are a lot better than previous games. Puck doesnt stick to goalis anymore, it actually bounces around making tips realistic.

I get what you mean... usually when you're kicking someones ass playing online, they decide to quit the game on you...hence the reason for connectivity loss.

I have it for my xbox one...the details are getting better. Only if the demo would allow you to play more teams.
