Todd Cordell: Five Predictions For The Blue Jackets in 2014-15

I'm pretty happy to see the CBJ doing well. Hopefully the Pens Blue Jackets rivalry will continue to grow. Also glad to see Boll get an extension, the NHL is a better place with guys like Boll and Bizz in it.

1. BOB will become a top 5 goalie in the league this year.

2. The CBJ will be a top ten team in the league in scoring and Goals Against this season.

3. Jack Johnson will have a better Corsi and WOWY rating then last season

4. Boll will lead the league in fighting majors this season, provided he is not seriously injured.

5. The CBJ will make the ECF this season.

Todd, I hope both sets of predictions come true.

Don't know what will happen this year , but deep down, I'm rooting for the Jackets to do well.

If they can finish second, they have a great shot at finishing first. Pittsburgh has two great players, not much support up front a thin defense (Erhoff will help) and highly suspect goaltending. Pittsburgh is at risk of tumbling in the standings.
