Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks: Trevor Linden on "Intangibles", Gino Appears at Maniwaki In a radio appearance over the weekend, Trevor Linden talked about how the Canucks' approach in 2014-15 could rely less on sport science and more on the intangibles of team-building.

**echoing throughout the pacific coliseum**: "GINO, GINO, GINO!"

Those were the days! Loved it when Gino was playing on the same line as Pavel...

Ugh, can you imagine these days if some coach stuck Ovi on a line with John Scott?

Maybe Pavel would have had a much longer career is Gino had got to spend more time on his line.

I agree with Steamer. We also have a rookie NHL coach, rookie NHL President, and a rookie NHL GM.

I have no problem with this but before we all get too excited let's see what the on-ice product looks like first.

I guess when the tangibles are stacked up against you that badly, it makes sense to focus your efforts on the intangibles. Still, it will take a heck of a lot of team-building to make up for the gap between the quality of the Canucks' roster and the playoff-quality teams in the Western Conference.

That won't do it. It's going to take time to turn this franchise around. I'm thinking 5 years at minimum. Longer if they insist on this 'retooling' method that's dictated by the owner.

Hopefully by then the other 'playoff-quality teams' will have come back to the canucks quality of play.

already I like what I see

instead of dragging out what are obvious distractions for freakin years he got the job and dealt with it in 1 month. No BS with JB love it.

Too bad lu wasn't dealt with like this wed still have Schneider ffs
Should have traded lu for whatever you get instantly much like the garrison deal.

Its not always about what you get back sometimes its about whats left and how it will work in your world after. Moving on with life sometimes out weighs profit and loss asset wise. If we could have traded lu for zero and kept Schneider Im willing to bet everyone would have done it

I'm not so sure the trading of Schneids was all about playing time or the canucks not being able to trade Lu.

Quiet day.

Well, I have some good news. I'm getting my medical marijuana dispensary card tomorrow. It's like christmas in July!

No more sitting for an hour or so at the dealers place having to listen to his bullpoop stories because in reality he is so damn lonely.

Plus the dispensary girl is super hot.

Your right forgot about kes. I'm not sure we would have picked schneids over kes and lu either. Didn't thnknof it that way.
