I really hope we do not trade Nyquist- no offense- Mike Green is a great D man when he is healthy, but with the Wings luck, he would get injured often. It just would not make enough sense to trade Goose away. If Johansson or Brouwer were a part of the deal, MAYBE...but I would really hate to see Nyquist tear it up for another team. |

Is MoJo pronounced "mo-jo" or "mo-yo"?
Man, Wings fans are going to tee off on this one. |

Well...Gus hasn't played center since turning pro over 4 year ago. I don't think they'd move him anyways. |

i think the same mentality as the buffalo GM, we would move nyquist "for an extreme overpayment" .. otherwise why move our future of the wings, when our current superstars are most definitely on their way out.. simply doesnt make sense, especially for mike green?
dont get me wrong mike green is good, but i would be severely bummed if we moved nyquist period. regardless of what the return is |

Nyquist doesn't play center..does he?
edit; Yeah, just read the comments. I thought he played wing.
Caps need to package off Laich and Brouwer with picks and prospects and bring in a 2C somehow. |

Seems more like a 3C. Not a better player when Laich is healthy, either. Didn't you tell me he is better on the wing though? |

does it seem more likely that helm (maybe with another or pick) for Green?

I love Helm, but he isn't a top-2 center. This trade creates more issues than it solves. |

Glendening for Green and a 2nd round pick...Babcock would be pissed to lose Glendening but you have to give to get I would even throw in Ferraro, Lashoff or Kindl to change the pick to a 1st rounder |

This is literally one of the dumbest things I've read on the internet. Nyquist is young with a boatload of potential. Mike Green is lousy in his own end, injury prone, and has one year on his contract. Why would the wings trade Gus for this clown? Maybe Abdelkiller and Andersson for Tom Green.
