Probably fair to assume he'll be traded at some point this season. I can't imagine MacTavish wanted a one year deal. Probably he and his agent wanting to test the market next summer.

With the ridiculous deals given in the summer, I don't blame him.

If he would be a newly added player it would be understandable for this to be a mistake..but since he's been with the Oilers someone wouldve had to physically remove him from the roster.
I suspect MacT has done it..Petry + + for a legitimate top six center.
