That's true, but still Dan Boyle was the Dman from which the D group was built around. Hell, take a look at that D : Sydor, Kubina, Cullimore, Sarich, Lukowich and Pratt.

This is a team effort to win a championship. You can't only build around one guy. Take a look at the last teams that won the Stanley Cup : LA, Chicago and Boston. You can say that each team had a Dman to build around (Doughty, Keith, Chara). Still, I think Kopitar, Toews/Kane, Bergeron had also a pretty nice impact on their team.

Nothing is one-sided, but the TBL won a championship with Dan Boyle as their leader at the blueline. That's it
