No chance.

Please not Ott. We already over pay Clarkson. The Leafs have done it right by signing guys for the bottom 6 reasonably priced and using young guys. 'They are not ready to contend this year, don't overpay for these guys.

I would rather see what the young guys can do. Does this mean a step back this year? Well yes. But that isn't the worst case scenerio. For once the Leafs could have CAP ROOM for the first time ever.

This gives them the flexibility to make trades as the season goes on, or in the offseason when teams need to unload.

Then he is an easy dump at any trade deadline to a contender.

Ott is terribly over rated. You guys already have Komarov who is a smaller but better version. Ott is a pesky feisty player but sucks at actual hockey.
