My biggest concern is the continued development of the young guys.

Particularly Galchenyuk, whom imo was extremely slow out there. He needs to work with a strength coach all off season to work on his first two-three steps.

A lot of questions going forward.

Who replaces Vanek?
Who replaces Markov?
Do you trade Bourque at first offer? YES (please sell high).
Do you trade Plekanec who has one year left or sign him before you lose him for nothing? (NJ anyone)
Do you let Gionta go? YES

Markov will be back.
Replace Vanek? So a lazy slow useless twit?
Keep Bourque
Don't trade Pleky
Gionta is back.

Actually he is very quick and will only get faster. Not fair to judge him right after he comes back from a knee injury.

He will go back to hibernation. You trade that guy as soon as you can. People need to understand that you make a good trade when his value is at its highest. Bourque must go!

Where are you finding Vanek's 30 goals? Where will they come from?

He is not coming back. Moulson maybe?

Bourque plays like this more than a few games. He has scored 30+ before.

I'm excited about all the things we have to discuss moving forward. It's going to be a really busy offseason.

As for a post-mortem, I don't think there was too much gloom outside of a terrible game six. The real loss happened from game 1-4. To what end do you need to dissect that? I think it makes for a boring read, to be frank.

And there lies the question. Moulson? Through a trade?

I agree Frank - I can call you that, right?

It was fun, I saw them win an OT game in the ECF which was awesome, and there is a lot to be positive about. Still a lot of work to do for sure. And despite what Damien Cox thinks, this team is nothing like the Leafs or Sens.

27 in NHL couple times so can do it. I could see 20 out of him.

Well, that would do it, sure. Thing is, nothing really points to both these things happening. Gallagher may come close, but I don't see Chucky there yet.
Mouslon wouldn't be a bad pick up. I'd rather have Vanek though.

It won't happen. You'll be screaming after a month of him doing nothing out there and his value is gone. He should be moved before the draft.

I added them to Chuckie and Gally.

De la Rose wins Calder and pops 22.
