Bleacher Report projected us taking Kempe from Modo HC at 16. Know anything about him?

Is this Jarmo Kekalainen second draft as the Jackets GM? If so he seemed to lean towards Europeans in last year's draft. http://www.hockeydb.com/i...aft/teams/dr00005316.html

Love the idea of being really strong down the middle and with Johansson, Dubinsky and Jenner the club looks really good there. As you mention taking the best player available is never a bad way to go........Speaking of Jenner did he play a lot of wing last year or was he exclusively played at center?

Todd, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on organizational strengths and weaknesses.

I've been a closet Jacket fan for awhile as they always seemed to play the Blackhawks tough, made em earn a win. Plus I made a visit to Nationwide and was really impressed with the quaint arena and the immediate area surrounding it. Great experience for a hockey fan......... Really enjoyed the playoff series with the Penguins. Some really good games and great experience for the Jacket roster.

I'm thinking more down the line of a defensman,Dougherty seems like a poor man's Jack Johnson.

Big, skilled forward who can skate very well for his size. Has a very good shot as well.

He played almost exclusively at wing during the playoffs.

As for organizational strengths and weaknesses, I think they're pretty deep in terms of defense prospects and their centres are excellent. They have some star-potential forwards coming up as well in Wennberg and Rychel, too.

I saw Rychel several times live during the Memorial Cup - I scouted every game - and he was one of the best players on the ice regularly.
