Stats are irrelevant.

MSG is irrelevant.

Everything is irrelevant except winning.

Balls to the wall.

Also, really nice to see G in the middle of things again. Hopefully he keeps it up because they need all hands on deck tonight!

The Flyers still need to improve in their puck management. Seventeen giveaways in Game Six (including the aforementioned nine in the first period) was way too many unforced turnovers. It forced Mason to save the team's bacon a little too often. That needs to cleaned up in Game Seven.

This.

They still managed to win the game with great goaltending, special teams and some fortuitous bounces, but being so careless with the puck is getting them in a lot of trouble at ES.

Any word on Streit after that spill? Did he play in the third? I didn't notice him

I don't think he played at all in the 3rd.

edit: nvm, scratch that. He didn't play at all late in the 3rd.

They need two things tonight.

1. They need to come out like last nights game never ended and get the first goal.
2. They need Mason to make a stellar save or two early in the game to get their confidence to peak level.

If these two things happen they will win the game.

Eliminate the self inflicted wounds, and the Flyers are as good if not better then the Rangers at ES. When they play to their capabilities. The Flyers ES play, in the 2nd period when they took the game over, was a big factor in the victory.

Everything te fans had been waiting for, from Berubes adjustments, players playing with passion and grit, mason coming up huge, occurred last night. It was awesome to watch. It was like the flyers found themselves over the course of last nights game.

The pressure is now on NY. I said it sunday: it will be awesome to watch all the disappointed rags fans watch their team exit in the first round after controlling the play and pace over much of the series.

LETS GO FLYERS!!

man, game 7 didn't look too likely a few times in this series, but just like they have all year, the Flyers proved to be a resilient bunch.

Out of curiosity, have the Flyers ever had a game 7 OT? I think that may happen tonight.

edit: my memory is sure failing me ... the Flyers have had 2 game 7 OT's

I am extremely grateful for that.

actually - I recorded the NBC channel because that's what it said on my guide and it had the Phillies on Comcast, so I basically recorded Soccer....I was pissed.

but that moment when I changed the channel to Comcast (i had my phone off, had no idea of the score) was quite awesome

My feeling is fatigue was a factor in game 5 after playing in game 4 for the first time in a bit. I have no doubts he stands tall again tonight.
