The only team still playing that may make a coaching change if they lose in the 1st round is the Penguins and I don't see Trotz going to an offensive juggernaught.
He will end up in Toronto. Kings won't let Sutter go and even if they did, Stevens would be the shoe in. |

not sure he'd be the answer. he'd have to change his scheme a little to fit the sudden offensive stars that he'd have for the first time.
if he plans on coming to pitt and use his 100% defensive scheme, therrein already tried that. it isn't going to work out for him. |

All depends if Trotz wants stable work or wants to win. I'm sure he would prefer both. |

As much as everyone says Pittsburgh, I personally think Minnesota would be a better fit for his coaching style. If Malkin ever wanted to play a complete game, he'd be a better player than Crosby. He doesn't. Just like Ovechkin doesn't.
Why bang your head against a wall trying to get players to buy in to your system when you can just go coach a team with Suter, Parise, Koivu, Granlund, Pominville, Coyle, and Moulson? Not half bad. Especially if they ever get a goalie that can stay in one piece either physically or mentally. |

He's from BC and Vancouver is a desired location for coaches, execs and players. If the Canucks wanted him that badly, he'd already be the coach. The same goes for Toronto. |
