It would be amazing if CBJ can take out Pit and the winner of Phi vs NYR. Boston will be hard in the ECF though

Well tough of but we can't say the cbj didn't get a little lucky in the dying seconds of the third.

But overall amazing comeback.

I love it, love watching this market go mad for hockey, love watching the youth on this team and the guys other teams thought they could afford to give up band together to make a force.

Johansen is awesome out there.

And the cannon-filled ruckus after the OT goal was a lot of fun to watch.

At this point, it wouldn't be all that amazing.

God I miss Duby. I don't know who got the better half of the trade so far... Nash is spectacular, at times, but Duby gives you that day in day out grind and tough play. His offense seems to be finally maturing too. Duby + Anisimov? So far, don't think Nash has given the value those 2 give CBJ.

If Nash isn't scoring or driving the play to the net, he's a virtual non-factor. Dubinsky won't post his numbers, but is a factor in every game.

I know it was discussed at length, but this is the exact reason that I thought Brodeur would be a perfect fit for the Penguins.

Not to be a "backup". That's shortsighted. But now they need someone to step in and finish off this series. Certainly would expect them to go back to Fleury at some point, but for the short term (the next 3 and the start of the semi's) they need a goalie change to stabilize things.

Agreed. I realize top end superstar talent is what the Rangers were missing back a few years ago, but it seems like its one extreme or the other with them. They use to be loaded with character players that played complete games and 2 way games very well, just lacked high end scoring talent. Now, it seems like after getting rid of Prust, Fedotenko, Dubinsky, Anisimov, Callahan, the team is completely the other way. All talent, too little grind and grit. Well, hope it works out, but I do miss Duby a lot.

I have all the respect in the world for your coach. His post game comments are calm and confident but not arrogant. He just seemed to calm the team down during the time out and they responded.

Its great to see this happening for Columbus' fan base, good loyal fans that have put up with a lot of stinkers, some sketchy management and drafting. Great to see and would love to see a match up with MTL down the road. Good luck

Not sure if they'd be comfortable putting him in a situation with this level of competitiveness and intensity after such a long lay off. I think you'd have to have that concern with any mid level goalie, including Brodeur if roles were reversed, after missing so much time.
