I'm all ready for another bad season. As the season moves along it should become more entertaining as well. As far as using some of cap space to hit the cap floor. Let me be the first to take 1 million off that total. There are a few mil left . anyone else ?

They should have a lottery from STH pool for something like this. Good idea. Maybe $100,000 prize or something.

It won't be until we get a guy like Mackinnon that free agents will say "I want to play with that guy". Otherwise I can't see a bunch of free agents pitying the Sabres and signing this summer.

Imagine if the Sabres tank again and get 1st or 2nd pick next season, then the Islanders tank and get 1 or 2. The Sabres could end up Getting both Eichel and McDavid in 2015. Wishful thinking I guess. Buffalo certainly is overdue for Good Luck!

While a sizeable portion of the fan base would be on board with this plan, a number of fans(including season ticket holders) may have little interest in seeing a team struggling through another season as the 2013-14 Sabres did.

Then there are plenty of people who will line up to scarf these season tickets up, because the team will be good again.
