I'm assuming you were watching the Detroit game, so I'll forgive you for thinking that Bishop would have made a difference.

Ya, some great saves in the 1st when TB was running it. TB just doesn't seem to have the same team D they did in the reg. season. Habs stepped up a little bit physically tonight too. Guys like Prust making a difference, Gudas looked unsure after their 'clutch and duck'

Very true. It's awfully scrambled right now.

Shutting down Stamkos is obviously the trick to tipping the odds greatly in MTLs favor. MTL has shown in the past they can shut down/slow down top players/lines (e.g. Crosby/Malkin, Ovi) but then often get beaten down on the 2nd and 3rd lines.

Tonight they held Stamkos in check well, and the 2nd and 3rd lines not only played well defensively but created a lot of offense as well. If they can keep it up it could be a sweep, but I still think this is going to be Habs in 5; I don't think anyone can stop Stamkos completely every game, hes just too good.

Lindback played well. I think the pull was to try and jolt the team but it didn't work because of the quick Bork! goal. Pretty big momentum swing after the Prust fight.

TB can't get through the middle and Habs are always challenging the D with speed. I didn't think it would be what it is, I thought it would be closer.

Lindback isn't the prob tho, to be fair.

Yeah, said he was just looking for a spark. Wouldn't commit to going back to Lindback in game three, but made it clear that he was looking to wake the guys up.
