Jason Lewis: Playoff Prediction Time! - Jason_Lewis
I was extremely down the last couple of weeks with all the injuries. But just about everyone is going to play for the Blues. How healthy will they be? I am not sure, but they are going to play.
Things are not as dire as we thought they were last week. Tarasenko might even be ready for Thursday's game according to reporters today. His cast is off and he was practicing today and shooting pucks like normal. He said he was ready to go and just needed the ok from doctors.
Oshie was also out practicing and just needs clearance from doctors.
I may just be getting my hopes up, but the Blues may have gotten their bad stretch out of the way before the playoffs started. |

Kings in 6. Some scoring from the kids will keep the sharks on their heels as the Kings will have a balanced attack and will be dangerous on all lines. Top line will be dangerous everytime it's on the ice and the 3rd line is going to be a forecheck demon. I don't expect offense to magically appear for Richards and Brown but I do think they will be great agitators and pests that will help to knock the sharks focus off of where it needs to be. Quick does need to outplay Nemo and the Kings need to stay out of the box!
By game 4 Jumbo will be looking for someone half his size to beat up on... |

And a slow start would prompt a Pearson-Carter-Toffoli reunion. We're looking ok. |

I think Detroit is going to give the Bruins a run for heir money and possibly even pull out the upset.
Even though I think Chicago beats the Blues, that could change if the Blues come out with a strong showing early to gain some confidence.
The Kings/Sharks series is going to be brutal and may just leave the winner with nothing left in the tank, similar to last season. |

I also wouldn't count Dallas out. They have matched up against the Ducks remarkably well over the last few years, this one included. |

It is definitely better than a few weeks ago. Blues players are warriors, I'll give em that, but I saw last year with the Kings what a difference playing injured can make. Just no convinced at how healthy these guys are, but they will play through it nonetheless. Tough stuff. |

Are you talking about the incidental contact with Hertl from earlier this season? |

That's right, I forgot about that goon and his prosthetic looking eyeballs... They weren't always like that, but I guess there are more than the known side effects to roids... |

You can't bring logic to a sharks fan... like who's knee was leading or who's knee was trailing. They also thought Raffi Torres had a clean hit on Stoll...
In reality though if the Kings can manage to steal game 1... It could snowball, possibly a goalie controversy if Niemi lets in a softee or two... Very similar to the goaltending situation in Vancouver in 2012 |

Had to move my drive to Alberta from coast up a day so I don't miss Kings/Sharks game 1. Will have to rely on satellite radio for Wed night games. |

Here I am trying to get behind St Louis, despite our history. Bad idea. Chicago always come through. CHI in 5. |

And you think that briwn's knee on knee was 'incidental' so it's pretty much even.

Tampa has some work to do if they want to help me with my prediction here. |
