Nothing cures a losing streak like a game vs a bottom feeder. Flyers should come out pissed

I don't *know* about the first part, but I do know the "toughest fans in hockey" are anything but nowadays.

It would be nice if they could make the trip to Florida with a win in their pockets.

Rangers have played 79 games. Flyers played only 77 with only being 4 points behind them. They can still get home ice. Need to win out

Up until yesterday I saw this as a trap game. Now I see it as a MUST win. They had better answer the bell or it really is panic time.

In the end, the Flyers must be better then the last week...or they'll miss the the playoffs...and even at best, if Washington and Jersey slide, playing like this would allow them to be passed by both Columbus and Detroit.....that would mean Boston round one....and the end of the season in quick order.....
The playoffs star tonight.

Any chance they rest Grossmann tonight? He was terrible yesterday.

Yea he didn't play well yesterday and he has had some games this year that he looked awful but when you are the lone d-man on the ice with 4 forwards, you can only do so much.

The top two lines really need to step up. Rinaldo seems to be the only one out there on a mission. Finally this team looks like they are a little tired, like the games against all of the top teams took it out of them.

Wake up boys one week to get into the playoffs.

Put Gus in, he didn't look too bad last time out.

It also doesn't help that Grossmann isn't very good. He's a limited, stay at home 4/5 guy who doesn't posses good puck skills, sometimes has issues reading plays and can get beat positionally because of it.

I'm not saying that to start another Grossmann war, but the guy isn't that good and hasn't been for most of the year. He's had some good games, but he's hardly a stalwart defensive defenseman.

The usage of Gustafsson is one of my bigger issues with Berube. The Flyers play well when he is in. He brings an element of speed and skating ability they lack when he's not in.
