Sabres play has gone so far South that Garth has had to resort to spending most of his time and focus on former players instead of the team at hand. You know what they say... "If you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all" I think this is a prime example... no wonder, Nolan changed his mind and is trying to get that contract signed. Without Miller backstopping this team, his coaching doesn't look as good as it did before. I will say it is clearly better effort level than with Rolston at the helm, though.

It was a big story in the nhl. Sabres are actually extremely interesting to write about now in my opinion. Now that there is only 15gms remaining and we look to finish last. Focus entirely on rebuild and draft bio's. Also can do write ups about interesting prospects that majority of fans know little to nothing about. Ie. Joel armia, Hudson fasching, William carrier. Sell the fans hope. Now on the other hand if were Edmonton what do you write about? Already had 3 consecutive 1st round picks and still suck.

This is nothing new. Last year it was Roy, then Pominville, then Vanek, then Ott/Miller, the Moulson, and now we're back to Vanek. Still waiting for the Chris Drury update.

Streaky is not even the half of it. If he continues like he did in Buffalo, he will not be heard from for the next 5-10 games.

He's as streaky as it gets my friend. He'll score 10 points in 5 games, then disappear for the next 20, with an "upper body injury."

This is nothing new. Last year it was Roy, then Pominville, then Vanek, then Ott/Miller, the Moulson, and now we're back to Vanek. Still waiting for the Chris Drury update.

Have you watched the current Sabres lately?

Giggy played like trash. Weak goals and even took a penalty late in the 3rd. Would have been a different story w/ Varly in net.
