A butt whipping today and a butt whipping tomorrow. The Pens are not deep enough up front to handle the Flyers with the injuries they have.

bill,
if there had been a boarding penalty called on orpik the league would have a look; do you think they will anyway despite the non-call on the ice?
thx

I thought Schenn & MacDonald looked really good that game. I liked Mez but I think MacDonald seems to compliment Schenn's game better and seems like a better partner for him.

I wouldn't get so confident. It was a good game, but it was only one game. We've been know to lay a few eggs ourselves here and there. Still, hoping we crush 'em again tomorrow. I'll be getting up at 6:30am to watch

The Pens came out flat yesterday, and ended up chasing the game early on. I fully expect them to respond with a better effort out of the gate today. The Flyers are going to need to match yesterday's effort - all 60 minutes of it - if they want to see 2 points.

Agreed, Crosby rarely, if ever, has 2 bad games in a row.

No doubt the Pens will come out with a better effort, so the Flyers need to equal that. If the Flyers can get an early goal, the Pens could get frustrated. It would be good to see them take some stupid penalties.

Two today will go a long way for the boys in the playoff race.

He was useless in the Olympics and last year against Boston. He's not the same player

No. It was a bad hit but Couturier was shaken up at first but OK afterwards. Between no injury and no penalty call on the ice, I doubt there will be a review. [/img]

Sean Couturier was stellar in the front end of the home-and-home, outplaying Sidney Crosby head-to-head.

Because of recurring head trauma from those old concussions? What are you driving at? He's dominating the league this season with his production.

Old Fraude? He sucks. He had a bad 15 games and you know he's not worthy of the C or the contract they gave him

I'm guessing Mason today and Emery against the Hawks.

I'm guessing Zatkoff today as well. I think they would have pulled Fleury if they wanted him to start today too. Zatkoff has played well for the Pens.

Holy cow just watched the highlights from last nights Sens/Habs. Talk about home-ice officiating, AKA 'typical Montreal'.

The numbers are skewed. He gets to play with that stud Kunitz.
