You mean too many bogus penalties called especially Foligno's which should have been 2min. at most and Leino's. The player broke his own stick. Then the non-calls both ways. Worst officiated game this year.

Right. They are on our heels in the quest for last place.

I hope so. They do give me a scare once in a while by beating teams like Boston, Lightning.

Does anyone know the date they do the NHL draft lottery? I know the season ends on like April 13th or 14th I think.

They're not your dice to roll, unless your name is Terry Pegula.

They've had a rough year. But you look at what they have coming in, or just recently started and the future does look good for this team. I'm not saying they are winning the cup right away, but as far as a re-build goes they are in a very good spot.

With the likes of Grigorenko, Girgenson, Ristolainen, Zadarov, McCabe, and Prysk on the verge of just starting. Myers has been playing much better and appears to be getting back to where all hoped he would be. Add in a top 5 (at worst) pick this year, and possibly a second depending on what the Islanders do. As an outsider fan of a team in a re-build I would be very happy with all that they have going on.

My question becomes (and this is as a Flames fan) what is their draft priority? I can't see why they would take Ekblad (even if he is the best player in the draft). They seem so set going forward with their defense. So is it between Reinhart an Bennett? Which do they prefer / covet?
