And Defense is literally the last position we need to be adding to. Bad enough Larsson is now in the AHL and Gelinas just found his way back to the line up despite both being miles better then the group of guys playing now outside of Greene. Cloutier has teh Devils interested in Erhoff and says we need defensive help...... How is everyone oblivious to the fact we have no offensive prospects and that our problem is scoring not keeping the puck out of the net. Why would we move Larsson or Gelinas for either of these older D when they both could become better then these guys !? (frank)ing ludicrous

You contradict yourself on a daily basis making up your own theories and reporting them "as per source". I dont get why NJ is in on any rumours other than selling. They have nothing good to give up (that they shouldnt be keeping anyways).

That would be beyond stupid. 17g 14 assists and even plus minus, 16 pims, 7 pp 2 sh and 4 gw. He is the exact type of player you need to win games and he is still getting better I can only imagine the amount of points he would have on a team with a competent offense. We would be miles worse for moving Henrique for Edler and that is putting it nicely...

One of the more underrated defensive centers in the league. Plays big minutes against other teams' top lines and generally does a great job shutting them down. Could definitely step it up offensively.

If the Devils traded Henrique for Edler I'd lose it.

Nothing against Edler, but the Devils simply don't need D, in fact they need to get rid of one or two of their older guys. Henrique has quietly had a very very good year and is one of the few bright young forwards the organization has.

He is worth more to the team then he would receive back in a trade. Probably one of the best defensive forwards in the game ( I know I'll get a good amount of laughs from that ) Todd writes about his advanced stats all the time and what he is able to do on a nightly basis .
