Matt Karash: Carolina Hurricanes Game Day Preview: @Dal -- 2nd try to start after break

Starting in goal tonight we have Cam Ward, fresh off a 3-2 loss in Buffalo where he single handedly led the Canes to defeat.

Seriously this will be a tough game. The Stars have strong goaltending in Lehtonen and the big line of Sequin, Benn and Nichuskin can do a lot of damage. I hope the Canes can put in a solid effort like last game and get better goaltending from Dobby to win this game.

I can't comprehend how bad Cam Ward is right now.... I don't know that he's ever reached such lows in his career.

I know this comment might be better for a season postmortem, but we still have about a month to wait for that.

Is it just me, or does the Lindholm pick scream bust? He's made of glass and is light years behind where they thought he was. They needed to get an impact player with that lottery pick and instead appear to have gotten a china doll. I just don't see him being anything more than a 3rd line center and thats IF he can stay healthy. Valeri Nichushkin really would have looked good on this team.
