Trade him to the highest bidder. Wait it out, along with Moulson!

Why risk injury with him? The way he plays, his season could come to an end at any time.

Trade him to the highest bidder before the puck drops on Tuesday.

Yup.

I think most teams would deal a 1st for Ott. I can't really think of a playoff team that wouldn't benefit from his style of play for the playoffs.

This... and if he really likes it in Buffalo then the Sabres can always talk to him and work something out.

I'd honestly try to do that with him and Miller. $6M per for 7 years for Miller, $5M (I think it'd take that much thanks to Clarkson) for 5 years for Ott. Trade them each for a first and they come back at 12:01 on 7/1/14

Highest bidders won't come in a couple of days man. Got to wait closer to the deadline that's when the real "Bidding" begins.

Naw learn to let go my friend. We got no use for Miller now. He wants to win a Cup and we won't be in playoffs for at least the next 2-3 more seasons. Also I do not know how long after that it'll take for us to actually have a team that can get passed the first round. Miller will be useless by the time we hit contender status.

Ott on the other hand has to stay IMO. I'd trade him and sign him in the offseason. If Ott does leave then I believe we should get rid of Weber. Seeing that they are best friends I wouldn't just trade Weber before Ott's departure.

Murray hasn't gotten a call in 2.5 weeks. How would Garth know about the market for Ott?. Murray may have an idea, but it isn't very clear.

Is that true? I would've thought that the GMs were still talking but could not pull the trigger during the freeze.

Just askin'......

Steve Ott (or Matt Moulson) to LA for Martin Jones.

Quick has his entire career ahead of him, set Jones free!

Besides, after watching Quick, Bernier, Scrivens, and Jones... Isn't it apparent that any goaltender is going to play well behind that LA team defense?

It just proves that for as little "insider info" and quality insight he had about the Sabres, he has even less about the entire NHL

That's not it. Hockeybuzz is more than just what the bloggers write. Its more about the poeple just finding a place to chat. Content is secondary and generally pushes a discussion a certain way
