When are you trading Miller? He turns 34 this summer and you're rebuilding.

He probably won't trade him in the pool until he actually gets traded in the NHL. I've tried to land him a couple of times. His value will be a lot higher if he ends up on STL rather than as EK suggests; EDM

Burrows should be on Team Canada, he's better than Kunitz.

True, but why not have a great goalie AND a rock star forward?

Interesting that the Babooshka Ice Dome/Perogie Processing Plant's ice is apparently very poor. Especially given this is supposed to be one of the prime venues and a showcase of Russian engineering/construction.

So, where exactly did the $50 billion dollars go? (other than Putin's stable of young boys fund and Siberian Goolag theme park

Here he is demonstrating 1) the new upcoming summer Olympic event - the ten meter boob-grab 2) the alleged length of his kielbasa

What's the point here, you want to crunch some numbers take a look at the 1976 Montreal games

Perogie's are Polish.

1976? Don't need to go back that far. A friend was in ticket management for Van's winter games and he said the abuse was absurd. So much money just disappeared. Problem is that the Olympics are not subject to any type of creditable audit.
I work for the government managing health care capital construction projects and anything over $10 million gets an automatic audit. And it's brutal.
How a Federal/Provincial/Municipal project like the Olympics avoids this is astonishing.

Looks like his motorboat'n face, so I'd guess the boob-grab event...

Yeah, some interesting comments from the Canadian snowboarder about Putin and the budget for the Olympics.

Sounds like a good chunk of the $50-billion went to a Bluth-like approach to building—make everything look good on the outside and screw the foundation and interior. Putin's model houses...

Apparently some of the recent building is already showing damage.

Putin's definitely getting a reputation boost with some of his jovial behavior in the media, but we'll see several years from now when all the buildings are crumbling from not having the money for upkeep, and the conditions are even worse than they are now throughout the rest of the country...

There doesn't seem to be an absolute consensus as to the origins of pierogies (with quite a few Eastern European countries staking them as their own - although Poland, Ukraine and Slovaks are at the top of the list). That said, there are theories that they actually originated in the far east - China/Japan (the 'pierogie' being inherited from the gyoza/dumpling)

As far as Montreal, at least there is the legacy of the marvel of engineering that is the Olympic stadium . Free concrete for all!

Edit: now I'm @$#@@#$ hungry

It will indeed be interesting what sort of 'legacy' these games leave (other than, as you said, a bunch of crumbling buildings and subsequent peasant uprising)

lol@ motor-boatin face and nice Arrested Development reference!

who needs back-door shenanigans and corruption when you can merely chalk things up to 'legitimate' government expenditures. Ahh, we are truly blessed to have such prudent stewardship of resources and finance

Not exactly a blockbuster, but I'm looking to trade one of my young D for a 2nd round pick in the pool.

Couple guys like Dillon and Gudbranson get great peripheral stats, and both have some offensive potential.

Or would package one with a F in a 2 for 1 deal.

Just throwing it out there.

I'd consider other returns.

But I am trying to free up a roster spot, so I don't want to take on extra players.

I suppose I'd do a one for one if the deal made sense.
