Anaheim Ducks GM Bob Murray told ESPN that you can cross red-hot goalie (and pending free agent) Jonas Hiller off the list of potential targets.

Actually, Murray’s comments were a whole lot more entertaining than that:

“There’s not a chance in [blank] that I’m moving Jonas Hiller,” Murray said on Tuesday. “I’m tired of hearing about the rumors, I can tell you Jonas is not going anywhere.”

I cant see Edmonton making a deal for Hiller in season. Ducks need him still. I can see Edmonton trading for his rights after the season.

I think the big reason he wants to stay with us is because he is the starter and no one in FLA is going to take that from him. TT could have two broken legs and still be the starter...

But who knows maybe he also thinks the team will take the next step, next season guess we will see if our new owner is for real.

I could see the Oilers throwing this years 1st round pick to Anaheim for Hiller and the Ducks flipping the same first round pick to Buffalo for Miller.
