As much as I don't like him, there's still nothing wrong with his play. St. Louis has no points, but I thought he has played well and deserves to be out there. Crosby has played very well (which is normal for him), but has just been stoned by solid saves. |

Lol, how can you not love Crosby?? |

i don't think there's any problem
crosby, no matter who his linemates are, will always draw the other teams best D pairs, and probably best forward line.
because of that, the rest of the teams lines will draw "lesser" opponents, and have been able to take advantage of it.
even if crosby isn't scoring, his mere presence in the lineup is allowing the great depth on this team to be used.
just my opinion |

I love his skill, his talent and leadership. What I don't like is his tendency to whine and hit his oponent after the whistle while the linesmen hold them |

Watching his line against Finland showed that there is nothing wrong with him. When you have Crosby, Kunitz, Nash, Bergeron, Getzlav, St Louis, Perry, Toews, etc....and you only put up 2 against Finland, maybe there's more wrong with team Canada. I think everyone on that team has put up atleast 30 regularly in their career.
That being said, Finland played excellent game and I'd like to see them medal. I loved Teemu telling Crosby he was diving. |

Its a shame how badly Canadian fans are ruining this Olympics for everyone with there constant wining. It may just be that Canadian tone of voice that comes off as so insanely winey.
Not one other team's fans found a scape goat and bashed their captain before the games even began. |

Canada, like the Pens, is loaded with talent.
But, I fear, Crosby no longer has that will to win. In the end, it really is about winning. Since Vancouver, Crosby has not been able to lead his team to victory in critical games. The Pens have not gone deep into the playoffs despite the depth of their talent.
Crosby continues to produce points but critical victories are now in the distant past. |

Nothing wrong with Sid, just needs to play hockey and stop thinking so much. Play as a team and get him Benn and Carter or JT on his wings. |

Which is why he isn't doing as well. International refs won't deal or listen to his whining so now he is pouting in the corner like the baby he is. As soon as he is back all will be well cause he has the NHL refs in his pocket. |

If Canada loses and the Canadians blame the loss on Kunitz, that will be the biggest joke ever. Blaming an entire team losing because of 1 forward when the rest of the roster is perennial all stars! Typical. USA will take Kunitz any day of the week. |

Pretty sure that I remember people saying Crosby was struggling in the 2010 Olympics and I'm sure we all remember how it ended. Goals are difficult to come by when playing against top teams in this tournament. |

It seems like some believe Canada should stroll through this tourney like the US "Dream Team" in Olympic Basketball. I doubt anyone would deny that Canada has the best, deepest roster, but they are capable of losing to 4 teams here without it being a big upset, IMO. |

If you noticed he didn't make my line up.
But if he was to play, it should be on the forth line and pk.

I did notice. Figured you had him as the extra forward ahead of Marleau. |

Your hatred for Kunitz has a twinge of homosexuality along with it at this point, I do believe Kunitz is married. I believe the way he speaks in just Canadian don't be fooled by that. - nbartley9
I would say don't be a moron, but I'm familiar with your work and won't bother. |

I hope what's wrong with Crosby is that he has the flu or a real nasty stomach virus that he is fully recovered from on February 24th. Or course, I wouldn't mind if ALL the Penguins at the Olympics other than Martin and Orpik suffered the same malady!
Honestly, I don't care anything about Crosby or Malkin or any of the players not on Team USA, as long as they don't sustain a long term injury. |
