Um Vancouver has 5 defenseman that are easily in leafs top 4. Hamhuis is defense 1st and day and night better then any of the leafs d men. Doubt he'd wanna move east and price would be very steep as well

Homer comments aside, I'd be pretty surprised if Hamhuis/Edler/Bieksa/Tanev/Garrison would not be top 4 in ice time with the Leafs this year. The same way Canucks fans would be drooling over a guy like JVR if he was in our lineup.
