Ugh, not sure how Gagner helps us that much.
I doubt we have the assets to get an Eberle without shredding our team too much

A couple of my sources tell me Anaheim is looking for a top 6 forward and talking to the Sens about Ryan. |

Seems like a good fit. |

Gagner can score, he's just struggling after coming back from that broken jaw. On a good team like LA he could be pretty good, and LA can't score goals for the life of them.
But I stil get the feeling all Eklund is doing here is taking tweets from other people, writing a quick paragraph blog and keeping it so vague that it sounds like it's coming from him. I could have written this same blog with my "sources", and by sources I mean twitter. |

I doubt gagner will garner much of a return - its not like he has much to offer most teams other than being an overpaid thirdline player.
hall or eberle, on the other hand are first or second line players on most teams. they would be very attractive.

Let's play true or false.
The LA Kings have Kopitar, Carter, Richards, and Stoll down the middle, but think adding Sam Gagner is the missing piece.

I don't know why LA would have been asking about Gagner other than the fact that a salary-retained Gagner for Clifford is ridiculously good value for you guys. |

There's no trade to be made for one of the big name kids.
None of them are worth doughty or kopitar.
And voynov isnt worth any of them imo

I really hope MacT is smarter than this. Might just mean they are interested in drafting reinhart as a huge 2nd line centre gap will be opened up. |

Be interested to know who the Ducks plan on moving in order to clear enough cap space for Vanek?! And... would he be a rental only? If he were to re-sign in Anaheim they'd most likely end up tying up close to $26 million per season in just 3 players. That's a lot of eggs in one basket. What an offensive first line that would be though!!! Vanek, Getzlaf, Perry?! God help us! |

They can have Ott or Moulson. We will take back the pick they got from the Sens. |
