That's not good. I guess you found a place to hole up? I read only Sandy (the storm) knocked more power out for the region than this ice storm. I'm good with no more snow/ice for the rest of the winter.

Real heavy snow, the kind that bends and snaps branches and trees, followed a couple days later by sleet/rain/ice = lots of people without power. Lots.

Nick Grossmann had to wire his skates to a car battery he was carrying and do blueline to bluelines for 7 hours just so Bill had enough juice to post this.

Yeah, it was too bad he could only complete three blue-line to blue-line trips during that 7 hour span, or it might have helped Bill out sooner.

Thankfully, we have a gas fireplace that is working. I went to Newtown Athletic Club earlier today to charge my electronics.... dozens of other people were there doing the same thing!

Keith Allen was a great hockey man. His work made for some great teams and happiness for the fans of the Flyers. Look at the winning percentage of his era's teams. Forget all the moderno stats, basic GF/GA W-L-T and Championships. No mysteries or over analysis resulting in paralysis.

RIP Keith and thank you for the memories. Boy do we need your hockey sense now!

I had power go out at 6:45am it came back on some time around 3:30pm.
