Laughing at the above! Anyway, great to hear that Bourdon is playing well. Always liked him before the concussion issues.

Hahah I can't wait to see which way the Leafs will epically choke this year. It's as sure as death and taxes!

Lol....I hope your right.....Toronto is a lot of fun when Leaf are in playoffs....besides the 2 minute melt down against Boston would be amazing to watch again....it finally made Leaf fans forget about Gretzky's high stick against Gilmour....I look forward to seeing the Leafs make more memories that I can enjoy!!!!!

16,000+ at an AHL game. Sounds like Hockeytown to me.

MJL is back! Hockeybuzz has been so boring without you. Kind of like the Flyers since Laviolette was fired.

Thought the D did a great job of clearing the lanes and allowing Mason to see the puck....thought the forward did a much better job in their own end which to me has been a major issue as to why this team loses tight games.

It's been a major issue at times all Season . The defenseman on this team get far too much of the blame.

He's a warrior but his lack of foot speed is really starting to hurt them.....his lost step this year was one he couldn't afford to lose....he was never fast to start.

He's actually nothing like that. He had asserted himself a bonafide NHLer before the concussions. Very good puck mover, low solid center of gravity makes him a good battler. He will be back if he stays on trajectory

The defensemen aren't great but when the forwards give them support they are more than adequate.

Gustafsson & Schenn were great, Very steady!

Courturier's 19 minutes seemed like 29 minutes, he was a warrior in all 3 zones

is there any word on the hit that Voracek took at the end?
Nasty head shot

I know sometimes these things materialize a day or 2 later, but hope he's ok!

I think labeling Borudon as a very good puck mover is a big stretch. He has good mobility, and plays with a physical edge.

I think we all agree that a change needs to be made to the mix of the defense. But for far too many it seems to be that the thought is that the Flyers win or loose based on their defenseman and how they play. We've seen it all season long. When the Flyers skate, and play a solid team game. They are a formidable team that can compete against anyone.

Couturier is a different animal.....he has bad stretches but he always stays with it...always shows up shift after shift.....guys that play like that are the ones that get better and better....if you like him now....give it two years....his potential is through the roof.
