This could be an ugly one or they will play a complete, balls-to-the-wall game and get us all fired up again.

...which is why I think Chicago is going to be pissed off and make an example out of the Canucks.

How bout a Canucks team coming off an embarrassing loss to the oil being pissed and making an example of a struggling rival ?

I would love to see that but the Canucks don't have the firepower to pull that off at this point.

What they should do is call up Grenier, Jensen, and Corrado (now that Tanev is injured); and let them make some friggin mistakes.

This is true, but Canucks typically play their rivals quite well regardless of who is healthy or how they have been playing recently

Why not. With Santorelli and Henrik out, Give Jensen some time up in a scoring roll and see if get something going. He is currently tied with Burrows for goals this year so what's the worse that could happen.

Put Grenier on the 4th line. Im sure he could generate more energy then Booth and Wiese.

They might play well tonight but the reality is they are currently down 2 top 6 fowards (Hank and Santorelli). Burrows has yet to score a single goal this year and Daniel has made it obvious that without his brother he less than mediocre.

Win-win game tonight. 4-1 Hawks. But Canucks get a moral victory because Sestito fights Bollig and the Canucks get in a few scrums.

Make that 5-1 Hawks in that case. This is gonna be fun.

Other than the one ANH game, the Canucks have usually played up to the better teams and down to the poor ones, this season.

But with the short memories on this board it's not surprising this isn't brought up.

I'd expect a better game than against the EDMs/CLGs.

OT or SOL is my guess.

I'm so glad we get add "moral victory" to the list of Canucks buzz words. It fits in nicely with "reset""bold moves" and "all in"

With Tanev out, I'm definitely concerned but that could be less of a low if Edler-Garrison are finally broken up.

When healthy:

Hamhuis-Garrison
Edler-Tanev
Stanton-Bieksa

According to the stats, those are the optimal pairings.
