Washington should seriously trade Ovechkin. The guy might score a million goals in his career, but he's proven time and time again that he's just a giant puck hog who tries to do everything by himself and I honestly can't ever see Washington going anywhere past the 1st round of a playoff series the way things are set up for them. You know that next to Sidney Crosby, Ov would probably get you the most return over any player in the NHL...just hold on to Backstrom and save yourself the 9.5 million for the next decade...or at least the next 2-3 years before he goes Eric Lindros the way he plays. |
