Yes, goaltending is our issue. Not our pourous defense or seemingly dormant offense. Not Oates being a bad coach. Not very obvious line combos ever being put together. Goaltending. |

He's most likely being sent down to be eligible to play in the AHL during the break, players with more than 20 games played (not sure of that is career games or current season) at the nhl level can't play for their AHL affiliate during the break, there might be a certain time they have to be re-assigned by before the break to be eligible. Ryan Strome and the islanders are in the same situation. |
