Ott and anything but our first round draft pick for Teravainen.

Why tip your cap to a team that plays that way? First off, hit a guy in the back numbers is a penalty, yet SJ can get away with it. Burns committed 2 penalties on the play he scored the tying goal. Krueger gets slashed before a face-off and no call. Tell me that SJ played a clean, penalty free game. Even a beer-league team can beat a pro team if they can play outside the rules.

Play the Hawks to a tie in regulation then go into overtime with a conservative mindset then go into the shootout with the expectation to beat them there. Not many teams can follow that formula but that appears to the most consistent way to beat Chicago.

Absolutely brutal in extra time. Just concede the additional point and go home early.

You know the 2014 draft is weak vis-à-vis impact point productive future star players. Very weak.

Anyway, dealing Hodgson might be a mistake. And too much for a prospect. Moving Ott and Hodgson would make Chicago formidable. But won't happen.

You are carried away in the WJC TT emotion IMHO.

It's only the midpoint of the season and he's already matched his career best for goals in a season. Career year?

You never know. He might get two. I wish I saw highlights of his goal. Did the puck hit his face and go in or did it hit his ass?

They wouldn't do that: he's on a goal-scoring tear.

Only 5 years? Seems to me that he's a candidate to go max term.

Speaking of Buffalo...I'm stranded here. Can someone back in Chicago please flip on the heat so I can come home?

This! Then line up your best right handed shots, skate the puck in deep, wait for Craw to fall to his knees and fire the puck high glove side!

Got hosed late last night doing a flight I wasn't originally supposed to do, and now ORD is shut down due to the extreme cold. So here I sit in beautiful downtown Buffalo.
