Staal's outburst was bad, but I am actually ok with it. He probably should have been more mindful of the situation, but had this been a baseball game, Muller would have and should have gotten himself tossed on purpose over the missed boarding call on #15. That wasnt just blatant, as there have been suspensions for hits like that, it was flat out dangerous. To see that let go and then to have Staals called was simply too much to take. NHL officiating is generally bad, but Wed's game was simply awful. I do not blame the Habs for being angry about it either.
Then again, with this being the NHL, I am sure both teams being furious ='s " a well officiated game " to the front office. So long as it was " even ".
Also, Cully would be the ONLY recycling project that I would not object to in any way.
