Matt you pretty much summed it up there about how the game's series of strange events came about ,and it was like watching two different Canes teams in one game the first 40 minutes the Canes were flat and played like they had there drinks in the pre game meal ,and just were mailing it in with a buzz.

In the locker room after the 2nd period Muller must have broke out a bottle of ice cold "resiliency" and sprayed the team down with it (Hope he saved some for later) The PP was all of a sudden top 5 from the "BOOOO" inducing attempt's that were in the 1st 40 min ,and the 5-3 that has two Canes behind the net was I hate to say was funny Tbo to say the least ,but after that Skinner caught fire like Taylor Swift txt him to say she was in the building or something then everything seeming flipped like a switch the real Canes were there and the other Canes were sleeping it off in the locker room.

The Defensive play early of Sekera and Faulk were horrible to say the least and Imo Faulks worst ever along with two bad penalty's his game had nowhere to go except up last night.

Eric Staals "are you serious" meltdown was the end result of when Ref's drink while on meds before the game as that may have been the worst officiated game I have ever watched from both sides with 34 PIM's with NO fights! Mike Hasenfratz aka(Hasenpepper) and crew should be sent to the KHL the rest of the season for that awful display of WTF calls on both teams...and I thought Brad Watson's crew was bad!

The Trade of Gleason must be eminent with Manny wearing the "A" as they are not changed out with something serious going on, and with Gleason a scratch JR must have something close to done Imo, so to Timmay good luck I hope JR brings in another player with grit because #6 will be missed for sure for being one tough sob.

So the Canes essentially trade the 3rd overall pick (Jack Johnson) for 5th round (Liles) and a 6th round (Robertson) picks. Nice work Rutherford.

It will be completed when JR's charter hits the tarmac in DC as they couldn't complete the trade call before his flight departed ,but Liles will be in the lineup vs the Caps...JR is now after a 3rd line center Per twitter:
@ice_chip

Hearing Canes may not be through. Still could be looking for third-line center

Does this mean Lindholm won't be back this season?

Lindholm will be back after the WJC, but a few body's have to move 1 goalie for sure, and I'll assume another roster forward however Nash could be sent to Charlotte without worry as Boychuk, so I guess It's wait & see.
