Sure beats losing Alex! His dad....well....he's in politics so that could give anyone a concussion!

The East is wide open this year. A healthy team, going into the playoffs, has a great opportunity to make it to the finals. Boston and Pittsburgh seem to have the injury bug this year and that makes the pretenders, like the Habs, Leafs, Wings and Caps think big picture. They may make that move that gets them into the position to contend.

Better thank your lucky stars......cuz Alex is having a great year. It would be a shame if he were out indefinitely.

well sorry to see anyone injured but now Seidenberg won't get away with any more cheap headshot elbows this year

Someone really needs a reality check here. What is it with these utterly ridiculous ideas. Stempniak was worth at best a second rounder last year. This year, as a pending UFA, he is worth Pittsburgh's top D prospect and a third? Laughable. He is worth a second round pick.

I'm sure a certain fanbase will blame a Penguin for this injury too.

This is gonna come out sounding wrong, but at least its not only the pens this year... I dont wish injuries on anybody and wish them both a speedy recovery but damn this has been a rough year. I thought it was gonna be a buyers market this year at the deadline but with all the injuries the sellers are gaining more and more leverage.

Will Burke make a trade before he hires a GM?

Took him about 10 months to make the kessel trade and a few short months to add dion

Well (frank) me! At least we have seen that our depth at Providence is outstanding this year. No one who can "replace" a player of Seidenberg's caliber, but someone a lot more than a space filler.

Harrington AND a 3rd for stempniak? Seriously? Why don't they ship Crosby, Malkin, Neal and Despres for PK after that. . . . .

Eklund: Seidenberg out for the Season, Steen Out With Concussion
- Eklund

Why is this news?

Any Bruin can cause the implosion of the universe and end mankind because Bettman, Jacobs, Shanny-banny, and Gregory's dad allowed so but the minute a Big Bad Bear gets a boo-boo, it's a national catastrophe.

(frank)ing sick of Boston.
