Peters was off the chart in this one. Easily could have been a 6-2 blowout if not for his effort. Is it just me or have Wardo and Pete Dawg somehow swapped bodies like in the movies, because Ward is playing like Peters and Peters is playing like good Ward?

Rant On: In Edmonton Faulk gets called for boarding in OT on a hit much less harmless than the one on Skinner last night and it cost us the game. Skinner get hammered into the boards in OT and the refs swallow their whistles? Come on NHL your officiating has got to be more consistant. After Friday night's abysmal officiating and this no call, I'm beginning to think the NHL is biased toward some teams...
Rant Off.

Suspensions are no different. How repeat offender Dustin Brown didn't get suspended for that hit on Hertl is beyond me

The point is not whether or not the hit was clean, it's the uneven officiating. As he stated, Faulk was penalized for a nearly identical hit in Edmonton, yet this hit seemed to get no attention. The issue is with consistent officiating, both on-ice and off, as it relates to supplementary discipline.

I'd agree with you if it wasn't for the fact he shoved him into the boards!!
That's BOARDING!
The refs have been very inconsistent on their calls this year (EVERY YEAR), one time it's a penalty, other times...play on! Rules seem to be optional for some of these officials!

Yep...while attempting to play the puck Skinner simply thought that if he propelled himself into the boards really hard when he felt contact from behind he'd draw the penalty and then it wouldn't matter if he turned the puck over in a bad spot on the ice.

My point was the inconsistent officiating in this league. If the Hurricanes were not called for boarding on the same type of play last week I could accept the no call in this case.
