The Getzlaf, Perry line are one of the best lines in the NHL, unfortunately for the Ducks in order to make it through the playoffs and win the cup, you must run 3 or 4 lines to do damage. I think the Hawks do this when healthy and the Kings are almost right there with the Hawks.

Not sure where you got your numbers for Geztlaf. He finished with 49 points and did not go scoreless in the last 10 last year. Plus he has only played 31 games this year. I think he is ahead of last year's pace.

The Ducks had balanced scoring earlier in the year when everyone was healthy. Then Koivu went down with a concussion and Silfverberg had his hand broken and Perrault had his lower body injury. Now that everyone is getting healthy again the 2nd and 3rd line scoring should pick up.

He's close. He's been practicing and has a Dr.'s appointment today to see if everything is OK. I doubt he'll play Sunday against Edmonton but he'll most definitely play on the Ducks 4 game road trip. That is, unless he gets bad news from the Dr. today.

Nice. Any opinion on whether he'll unseat Penner?

Oh, hell no! He'll go to the second line with Perrault and Selanne.

If Selanne isn't demoted by then

I was talking about the same time frame (34 games) as last season.

Weird info. I though Teemu had one of his better games lately against the Wild and it turns out he was playing with the flu. He, Winnik, and Allen are out with it now.
