just like the contract noise nonsense before the Kessel signing... this one will also be a done deal...

they are probably just arguing over who will pay for the legal costs when Dion beats the poop out of one of the annoying media circus members.

I predicted before the season started that the CAP would go up by 10-12Million this coming summer. Nonis will be a very good position.... particularly because the big concerns over Franson won't be very big at all.

It's hard to say. Losing Phaneuf would cripple this team in a more long term scenario than just a game or two. Hopefully they somehow rally around this.

If they aren't going to play Reily then get him set up to play with the WJC. He hasn't done anything that warrants him sitting.

I'd like the Leafs to bring up the MacWilliam - and let him play the left side beside Phaneuf, move Gunnarson to play with either Franson or Ranger.

On THIS team? Yes, yes he is.

I think it maybe interesting to watch the whole "left versus right side" situation. Seems to me that Reilly looks more comfortable on the right side, as does Ranger.

With the Kings being that strong cycle team, the Leafs will need to try to use their speed to aid the breakout, and will be interesting to see how they handle killing penalties with #3

Yeah, Im not sure I care to bring him back unless he signs for 6M...and hes not signing for 6M...Im not sure what it is about him, but Ive never felt overly comfortable watching him play.
