Last game you met the great Nichushkin and I warned the flyers. Now you will meet the great Zibanejad. Two awesome young players. Mika is just coming into his own this year while the Russian is an 18 year old beast already.
Anybody know what is wrong with 93 of the flyers? Maybe watching the Sen's 93 flying around the ice will motivate him.

Might want to tweak Vinny. He's definitely out...and it ain't spasms.

Honestly, Nichuskin didn't impress me all that much. He looked very good during the Flyers' meltdown, but otherwise I didn't notice anything but his size. I wouldn't say he looked bad, but he also didn't look like the second coming of Malkin as some had alluded to.

Here's hoping that they shake off the last game and show some life out there!

Who was recalled to take Rinaldo's place in the lineup?
Surely he's going to be held accountable for his selfish, despicable actions right?

Inmates running the asylum.

Flyers broke his back by letting him carry the offense for too long.

I would really like it if super-star Giroux showed up for the rest of the season. This current Giroux is a younger Briere (Whom I love nonsexually).

Rinaldos identical twin brother was signed to replace him. Keep up man.

Rinaldo in the line up, hmm I have mixed feelings about this.
Seems like he has earned himself a time out.

I may be mistaken but wasn't Zibanejad playing on their 4th line last time Flyers played the Sens? Now he's on the first line and Conacher is a healthy scratch. Interesting.

He looked like perfect compliment to Benn and Seguin, and for him to keep up with those two at age 18 is pretty good.

I agree with Bill, that line reminded me of the Legion of Doom.

I normally really like Rinaldo but I have to agree that he better be on the shortest leash known to man. When he skates he better feel the pressure of Berube's hand on his jock strap because last game was ridiculous. I'm tired of being down a man due to his stupidity.
In his defense the refs have been heavy handed with him. What he seems to fail to realize is that will be his fate in life forever... It's not like he's Neal and can just knee people in the head by "mistake" and waltz away unscathed...

That line played a damn fine game. Does Dallas have any other lines?

Poor Vinny. We've really missed him. I was disheartened to hear that he'll be out for the rest of the month. I hope he heals quickly and gets back to us soon. We need his scoring touch and his presence in the locker room. I'd sit Mez and bring in Gill for that locker room leadership alone...
It would be nice if the top line would start dominating again... Seems like the only time they are on the sheet is during a PP goal. Which I'll take. But it's frustrating to watch them play so poorly 5 on 5...

I'm with you. I'm a fan of his, but I have no clue what he was thinking. Reminded me of Carcillo on Bradley (9-minute PK). It just made no sense. It didn't even look like Roussell indicated in any way he wanted to drop them; Zac just grabbed him and then started swinging. I don't get it.

In response to the Pens/Bruins, Neal is getting a phone hearing. How he gets a phone hearing is beyond belief to me...well, actually, it sadly isn't. It's a shame for Shawn Thornton that he isn't a 30+ goal scorer or he'd get the same.

Yeh they have some pretty good second tier talent in Chiasson and Eakins and ageless wonder Whitney.

I heard what made Zac snap.
Roussell told him Couts was getting traded to EDM for Hemsky.
I would have lost it too.

At no point during his 14 year career in TB did Lecavalier miss 7 weeks in a season. Here we are a couple of months into his 5 year deal with the Flyers and he's got a broken back.

"Bad luck" has struck once again.

So.....now that Vinny is going to out upward of a month, should we call up someone with a little more experience playing in North America?

I mean, we're all sure that Michael Raffl is the right choice for the next 3 to 4 weeks in a top 6 role in this team?

Are you kidding? Line 2 isn't one without Vinny. In my book Our 3rd line is our first our first line is our second and our second line is our third...
Writing this made me sad...

Who would you call up? Just curious.

McGinn to play in the top six, Raffl on the 4th line
Rinaldo getting the popcorn suite, at least for a game or two.

I could see that.
The fiancee cracked me up after the game. He turned to me and said...

Neal didn't mean to have his knee skate directly into his face. I can't stand tue double standard in the NHL.

If Neal was a flyer I bet his suspension woukd he brutal.

Rinaldo will have to play rock, paper, scissors with that other waste of oxygen Rosehill for the honor of getting the popcorn.
