They came out of the gates reallllll slow.....must have been the cold weather!
Either way, they started to turn it around during the last 5 minutes of the first period and got rewarded with Brodie's goal and there was no looking back!
Glad to see they kept on the gas pedal in the 3rd as well. Real solid last 40 minutes. |

I was able to watch until the Flames went up 3-1 but missed the end. I was pleasantly surprised to check the highlights later and not see a third period let-down.
In your opinions, was Ramo really tested, or was it more a case of strong team defense and not enough drive from Phoenix? |

Not to take away from the boys but Phoenix looked awful! Not the same team the beat the Oilers...
So who starts next game? Hartley has a hard-on for Berra but Ramo is the hot hand... Did you hear him mention the other day that the Flames have a 3 goalie system and MacDonald is still in play? Geesh... Anyone know how he's played in Abby? I'm too f'n lazy to look it up... |

watching last night game live i realized that i forgot how vocal gio is out there always pointing and directing player even when the puck is no where near him. and ramo had to make a couple good saves but the defence seemed to be on the ball clearing the second and third chance away from the net

How about the play of Stajan of late? If he keeps this up it's going to make it harder for me to throw him into trade suggestions....
....Or maybe it will make him worth sooo much more
From what I've seen of Berra and Ramo, I rate Ramo as the better goalie right now, but Berra could have more potential. |
