Bill: You have Rosehill both in the lineup and as a potential scratch.

I suspect the listing under "potential scratch" is a Freudian slip.

Rosehill to play in his 19th game as the Flyers "13th" forward. PATHETIC!

The hockey gods are giving the Flyers every opportunity during this tough stretch of away games. Injuries to Stamkos, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Weber, Seguin and probably Bob. They really need to get the points when they have the chances. This is one of those chances.

It's wishful thinking. We all know the reality of the situation though.

if not for Mason stealing 2 points the other night this road trip would be off to an ugly start.

they gotta get back to playing sound hockey asap .... the passing has been atrocious in recent games, not to mention missing the net on too many shots.

Raffl couldn't hit the side of a barn with his shot. I can see why he wasn't playing in the Swedish Elite League.

He's a classic "95% player"... can penetrate the zone, deke a defender at the top of the circles, get into great shooting position, then fail to cap off the sequence with a goal or even a shot on goal. He's like a progress bar that hangs at the very end.

Yup. With the Flyers top players struggling mightily offensively, would be nice to get some production from some secondary guys. Needless to say it's not happening.

lol, come on now. I think Raffl has way more upside than Nodl. If anything, I'm excited for Raffl. He will start hitting the net, he's already more confident than he was a month ago. What I like most was alluded to in the previous post. He hustles, his skating is above average, he clearly has some hands, and forechecks hard. Once his shooting and offensive game come around, I think Flyers fans will be surprised.

Meh. G, Jake, Read, etc. all miss high and wide just like Raffl. Or they manage to shoot it into a defender's stick or body. Hence the Flyers being one of the lowest scoring teams in the league.

Nodl actually scored 11 goals in 67 games. I think it would take Raffl approx. 45 years to score 11 goals.

Man am I over this constant complaining of enforcers on this team. Lecavalier is hurt, Rosehill is a fourth liner and has a convincing goal, which is more than Raffl. What's the big deal? Boston's enforcer plays as a regular every night.

With this said, it sounds like there is a tiny glimmer of hope that Lecavalier might play. Cross your fingers.

This is what I think as well. He's one of the only forwards, outside Couts, I'm excited to watch develop.

I don't mind Raffl all that much. If the scorers were doing their part, Raffl would be viewed as a solid two-way forward. We would probably just laugh off his inability to hit the net with shots.

Lecavalier is out. It's only his third different injury so far in a quarter of a season. Meanwhile old Man Jagr continues to be an Iron Man.
