I'm not turning on maatta but the last few games he has made it more apparent that he is still young and has a little to learn , that being said I still think he is the Man for the job and will continue to get better.

Just a sloppy, sloppy game by the Penguins. No care in regards to puck management. That can't be put on the coach so the anti-Bylsma crew can't complain about that.

If they show up with that kind of effort against the Bruins, they will run the Penguins right out through the Zamboni doors. It'll look like game two of the conference finals.

Pretty sloppy game. Maatta struggled. We did not get a lot of second chances.

As a critic of Bylsma, I agree, I don't hang that loss on him. He's not telling Maatta to make that horrible pass. But... When the same problems persist, I think it's fair to dump some blame on the head coach. Yes, he's not coaching them to play careless hockey. I'm 100% positive he's communicating what he wants them to do, but ultimately, he must not be getting through to the players because they frequently play sloppy games.

Good news is the mistakes were easy to point to. It was a tight game otherwise. Overall not the worst performance. Had some big plays at times. Glad Malkin came out of it looking better than when he went down. I thought that Letang and Maatta rebounded and made better decisions later in the game.

We should expect there to be a few bumps for Maatta especially but he's mature. I think he comes back with and plays his butt off Monday. The one thing that bothers me is the allowance of Subban and Plekanacs to bully us at all. Gallagher too at times. I prefer playing the game and skating off...but there comes a time when enough is enough.

That stings. Just don't have a lot of wing depth. I guess Sill will replace Glass. Looked like he took a nasty shot off the hand.

Please ship D'Agostini's a$$ out of town. He doesn't do anything well. Kobasew is a much better player. Bring Megnatron back to this roster.

That's exactly what I said. I'd like to see a bit more from D'Agostini...but Megna should've been brought back up. I guess they don't realize we're trying to replace a top 6 and not bottom 6. Oh well.

We'll see how it works out. I'll be at Wednesday's game.

If we put D'Ago on waivers nobody will claim him. He played 4th line minutes in Jersey for a reason. The guy has lost "it" from his game.

Have a good game on wednesday. I still think we should acquire a net front presence in the deadline.

You may be right. Then again...maybe NJ would be interested. I totally agree about getting a net front presence. That can't hurt. Possibly a bit of grit packed in. Maybe a 12/19/13 type

Appreciate the well wishes man. I'll try to be as loud as possible. I'll have my dad, brother and grandfather with me. Section 104

Wasn't it Bennett who dropped a bit in the draft because of being injured? I see the trend now. Not good, not good at all.

Two straight games in which the Pens allowed someone to run around like they owned the place--Clutterbuck on Friday and Subban on Saturday...not at all saying we need a Colton Orr type player but someone should have challenged Subban for his runs at Crosby

So a few things I was unhappy with were 1. Sid letting Subban and Plekanecs get under his skin and 2. The team allowing it to happen and no one getting in his face and taking care of it. Kudos to Subban that is exactly how you play Crosby. He was doing the same to Malkin as well thankfully they weren't matched up a ton.

This team has a problem with their tempers. We discussed this to no end already but it all started in the Flyer series 2 years ago. Teams get under their skins and boom they forget how to play hockey.

I didn't get to see the Montreal game but in other games that I have watched since he has come back he has been keeping it cool for the most part. Maybe since he hasn't played to much this year he hasn't had as much of a chance to lose his cool yet though. hah! Give him a few more games and I am sure the dumb penalties will start to roll out.

Shouldn't have got to that point. Guys like Adams and Vitale have to step up and do their jobs. Bylsma has to recognize that and get them a shift with Sid or just out against Subban in general.
I say Adams or Vitale because obviously Subban isn't a big tough guy.

I know we all appreciate the value of PaulMart to the Penguins for the most part but here's an article I saw this morning on Bleacher Report about him. I can assure you it's not too shabby...like some Bleacher Report articles can be.

http://bleacherreport.com...sburgh-penguins-blue-line

For some...maybe many...it's preaching to the choir but still nice.
