I think it's wiser to conclude that this years team that does not include Grabo is better than last years when it had him. You have to look at it from a team perspective because of cap and where/how the player fits with the rest of the team.

I see it as Bolland replaced Grabovski (despite the injury... FUUUU KASSIAN!). I think that Bolland fills out the 3rd line better than grabo could have, and Kadri is an obvious choice for the 2nd line.

Bozak at 4.2 is better than Grabs at 5.5. And unfortunately we needed to keep Bozak in order to secure Kessel for the future.

Sure we're not incredibly deep down the middle, but from what I've seen of Holland he may actually work out if we're willing to be patient and give him a decent amount of ice time.

If Grabovski wasn't playing on the top line with Kessel, he isn't worth that money. He is doing better because he is on the second line in Washington, instead of the third line like he was in Toronto. Mason Raymond has been a steal for you guys, would much rather have him than Briere at his price.
