16 pts in 17GP..One of the better Caps so far this year and leads team in scoring....They did an interview(NTV) with him here on the Rock Monday seems to be a really nice guy..

Any chance this guy gets a look this year??

That's too hard to read. Here's my take.

They are missing two of their top 4 D-men.

Kane can't or won't pass the puck and would prefer to take a wrist shot from the top of the circle.

Scheifele is still not strong enough. How he isn't injured yet is beyond me.

Noel has made too many coaching errors. A couple of non-called timeouts late in the games on icings for example.

Brutal powerplay. If you are going to dress Scheifele...at least put him out there with the man advantage. Jokinen and the same old same old isn't working.

Pavelec has played much better of late.

I think all those things are contributing factors but the Fenwick was awful with Trouba and Stu in at first.

Nonetheless I thought it was interesting who that stat really relays some of the issues that have shown the team to be stagnant for a few years

The helmet pardy would have got real interesting in the (unlikely) event that someone on the Jets notches a hatty against the Hawks!

Sucks that they had to rain on the parade.
A business in the area should make folding cardboard "helmets" for fans to wear and bring into the next meeting with the hawks. Would have been hilarious seeing half the crowd wearing their buckets at a game!

They can't stop fans from wearing the toque style helmets to the game though!!!

It has been hard to hear anything negative about Chipman or True North anywhere in the city since they brought the Jets back. This is the first black eye on them. They completely missed the boat on this one

I think this was as odd a communications strategy as any- more importantly it seems to go much like the ticket-card did. Splitting opinion of the fan base and not really understanding the 'pulse and desire' of the fans.
