I fully expect Gaborik to get his obligatory goal against the B's. That aside they should be able to beat Columbus even with Tres Ocho in net tonight. The defense is going to have to step up.

Horton's still out and didn't even make the trip (unfortunately). I'd hope not, but you'd honestly have a fine time making the case that you should boo Horton over Seguin. The former chose to leave Boston. Seguin didn't. But hey, I can't get in the minds of the people paying these crazy prices anymore.

I agree. 17,000 + who should be banned from the TD Gahden and from watching another game. He didn't live up to up hype but he didn't publicly shoot his way out of town either.

Good win tonight. I thought their play way pretty meh tonight, but 2 points is 2 points. Quite a few defensive brain farts that could have cost them, but Johnson played a solid game. On to Ottawa for a big divisional game, which they should win given Ottawa's recent struggles.

Milan Lucic is playing on a different level right now compared to last year. He looks in the zone and if that continues he could break 30

Not sharp as a whole. Johnson did all you could ask a backup to do. I think the effort was there but there were a lot of mental mistakes, sometimes guys getting a little too cute with their passes.

I will say that it was probably tough to get any momentum with the 5 penalties against. The PK was solid though.

again.....on ice wasnt the problem and it will never be the problem, he is going to be a great player. When you have pro scouts saying behind the scenes that the organization shouldnt have to babysit, there is clearly something wrong there. Buffalo ha, grigorenko looks like hes really progressing!
