In your report you didn't say that this was going to be a surefire loss.

Some "expert" you are!

We need more offense. Larsson really needs to take a step forward in his development. Seems like he hasn't gotten much better since being drafted which is unfortunate. Needs to do more offensively. 0 points in 11 games is not going to cut it.

I think Gelinas has still shown in all of his games that he is a better defense man then any of the guys who will be returning to the line up. Now I know Pete might not care cause frankly he has a hard time telling the difference between talent and poop. If he is going to pull Gelinas out of the line up for scrubs like Harrold, Volchenkov and Salvador then he should be sent packing since those guys haven't won us jack poop the last two years and have looked horrible losing on top of it.I don't get why Gelinas puck movement and Zone exits aren't enough to keep him in the line up that he also has to be putting up a ppg to stay but all the other guys can be out there and look like they have never played the game at the NHL level in their lives and not lose a minute of ice time. This franchise is sinking fast.

If in the next 6 games the Devs don't at least win 3 of 6 or better, do you see PDB still with the team? I can't imagine that if the end up on the opposite side of the win column up to 20 games that he does. But giving him to 30 games could be the end of the season before we know it...

Terrible decision kid has heart. I really like him hopefully he stays with the club for the remainder of the year the next time he is brought up.

kris newbury is obviously the answer to all of our issues.

agree that mcginn should be in over newbury and rosehill, if not some others.

I don't mind Volchenkov in the lineup. The effort was there last game he played against Philly, sure he spent most of the time falling down but you could see he was trying to make things happen out there. We don't need spectators out on the ice, we need guys hustling. I definitely would have started Fayne over Harrold though.

Todd, the more and more we go without seeing Clowe do you think Lou uses one of the buyout options on him? Keeping in mind after next year he doesn't have that option anymore.

Can't use it on players signed after lock-out.

He already used one on Hedberg. If he uses an amnesty on Clowe, it does give him much more flexibility. But it also proves that the Clowe signing was a gigantic mistake.

It seems to be that way. But like it was just mentioned guys signed after the lockout can't be bought out by Amnesty. I don't get why he used one on Moose though the guy was making 1 million dollars.

Pete should get fired anyway. He's killing our young talent

It isn't hard to see why half the room in Florida didn't like him. He is stubborn and won't change his ways. Guys like Ryan Carter are the guys he does best with. Guys who try really hard but aren't that good. That certainly isn't to say that Larsson doesn't try hard but he has talent and he seems to not be able to see what talent his because his system is for guys with not much talent.

What if he's forced to retire because of injury?

Exactly. He leaves in older players that aren't doing anything. And doesnt utilize anyone's strengths

Pronger can't retire because his deal is an over 35 exception. Clowe can retire without a cap penalty being issued.

NJ will surpass their shot total from Saturday's game in the first period.

NJ will win 2-1. They'll score two in the first two, Flyers will get one in the third.

Zajac will actually get a goal.

In the warm up, lol

He will never beat Marty.

Also Emery is in for the Flyers per Tim, but what does he know.
