On that second goal, it looked like Fleury shuffled a little bit when coming out. I wonder if he was just trying to (unsuccessfully) find his angle, but maybe for a second he thought about coming out and trying to beat Stepan to the loose puck.

What happened to the Penguins setting up Geno for that ridiculous one timer from the right circle on the PP? That used to be their bread and butter and I RARELY see them go for it anymore.

Guy looked rattled. He gets a couple more bad losses and watch out.

I disagree... We've definitely seen MAF rattled in the past, but his body language didn't look rattled last night. He was still composed, and made some tough saves in that game. When he goes a little off the reservation, he tends to be much more scrambly (I think I made that word up) and gets himself in trouble on shots/plays that shouldn't be trouble. I've been critical of Fleury a lot, and I don't think he played that poorly last night at all.

Interesting that the Pens signed Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond to a 2 year deal from his current AHL deal. Not a bad idea to have in on an NHL contract in case you want to call him up for a game, but why the second year?

Wonder if Engelland is gone in the very near future? PL3 isn't needed if Engelland can dress if the Pens feel they need some muscle.

Niskanen didn't appear to be going all out for that puck on the second goal. The power play has looked good they just aren't scoring on them with exception to that scramble. Milbury said during the first intermission its only a matter of time before it explodes and I believe that's an accurate opinion.

He was staring at Zuccarello... I don't think that he ever saw Stephan until he was passing him.

one of my concerns with Fluery was the big rebounds he put out there. while not an issue for this one game, in the 'win or go home' scenario, teams will bury that opp.

jeffrey-not impressive all but who had an outstanding game. they were a stride behind all night. it looked almost as if they were going thru the motions.

Adams was far and away our best player last night.
I have never been a huge huge fan of Adams, until this year he seems to be like a fine wine I hope he stays healthy.

Bylsma is calling Dupuis' day off a "maintenance day". That's good news, because if it was a serious or career threatening injury, he would be classified as "day-to-day".

Lebrun has Martin as a lock for team USA and listed Orpik as looking good. Thoughts? I'd agree with that.

I agree that Martin is more of a lock than Orpik.

I don't think it would be outrageous if Orpik was left off the team but it would be if Jack Johnson made it over him.

I'm pretty sure I screamed "LOOK BEHIND YOU!" at the TV like it was a horror movie when I saw the trailer in the corner of the screen behind Niskanen.
