Wonder when Ek will finally kick you off the site.

You're not a writer, nor are you interesting. Barely any comments or hits and you're in the featured section of the site.

Give it up GARTH.

Oh, and blog about your own team. I know you need hits, but other teams have bloggers for a reason. Show some respect to the people who actually write good blogs.

Well to be fair I thought it would be a blog asking for a suspension. This won't happen until you guys storm the NHL head office...didn't they invite you?

No need at all for the hit to be mentioned with a suspension or dirty or anything. It was a hit...A hockey play. Same as the one by Cooke which the Senators brass whined about..

Hahaha. I dislike Garth as much as the next guy...but you are awesome. You realize the featured section is to cover the entire NHL...right? Show some respect to the people who actually write good blogs?? Haha...not any of those people on this site.

If you look at all the other featured writers they don't get many comments either...so that's a moot point.

Lastly, please explain how you know how many hits a post gets. I would like to know that information.

What a pointless post.

Wrong.

Bill Meltzer and Eric Engels write great blogs. The new Kings writer is pretty good too.

Have you read a Meltzer blog? He's a machine.

Garth. If any team is interested it is a way smarter move to do it on Re-Entry waivers so he cost them less in salary.

For sure. Meltzer writes some good stuff. As does Jason Lewis. Havent read to much of Engels. Garth seems to just always be writing nonsense that is mostly irrelevant. But then again. Being based on getting hits is kinda stupid. But his irrelevant blogs do bring in the Leaf trolls to talk crap all day. So I guess its mission accomplished.

Kaleta sucks.
What game are you watching? Puck is always in buffalo end when Kaleta is on the ice, even when the team was decent.
Only reason he made the team was to fool the Buffalo fans with a local "talent".
Some of us are fools, most are not.
Kids got heart, lacks NHL talent. Don't think he'll be taking AHL by storm either.

Yup, 10-15 teams interested, eh?

I guess Kaleta isn't quite the caliber of player that Garf and most of the Sabres fans were making him out to be. The rest of the league just proved that by passing on him when they could have had him for nothing.

He's literally worth nothing in the NHL.

Makes me wonder if there was a "don't claim Kaleta" message floating around the NHL this weekend.

- GARF

Yeah, it's all a giant conspiracy, Garf

It has nothing to do with the fact that players like Kaletta have no value in the NHL... Something that the Sabres and most of their fans still fail to see... Which is a giant reason why they suck so bad right now.

The new CBA eliminated re-entry waivers. No more half-price discounts.

I'm sure 20 teams were lining up to claim Kaleta, and the NHL sent out a memo to teams to not sign him

Kaleta has proven on multiple occasions that he can't play on the right side of the line. He is a punk who is not worth the headache for a legitimate cup contender. Any team with a real shot at success would be stupid to take on the headache that is Pat Kaleta.

In fairness people said the same crap about Cooke. Even when he was on the wrong side of the line and being productive.

If he wasnt always hitting the head he would be. Not so much in points. But getting under the skin of other teams and drawing penaltys. Those types of guys are useful. Theyre just not useful while being suspended all the time.

Worst part is he gets 1.25 mil to be there this year and next...Pegula is a jacka$$ the way he gives out these contracts (Myers and Hodgson get long term instead of bridge contracts and then Leino).

What makes my day is reading all the comments about Garth. I know for myself I have nothing better to do than constantly bash him on his views, grammar, content, and spelling mistakes. I have now spent my a looted 30 seconds if my life responding.
